Masters of Social Work
Alexa has her Master's in Social Work (MSW) and is eager to support individuals and families to find peace during times of uncertainty or crisis. Whether you are currently experiencing hardships, have been impacted by trauma, or are looking for mental health maintenance, Alexa aims to support clients from all walks of life. She has several years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in childcare, school-based, and counseling settings.
Alexa is passionate about serving children, teens, and young adults. She uses a warm, person-centered, and strengths-based approach. She values humanizing the various struggles we all may encounter throughout life while highlighting clients' unique strengths and abilities. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Play Therapy approaches tailored to her clients' unique needs and values. Alexa supports children and families struggling with emotional and behavioral issues, assisting parents in better understanding their child and children in better understanding themselves. In addition to her support, Alexa aims to provide a connection to community resources for all clients and families she works with.
